EIFS — Exterior Insulation and Finish System — adds a continuous layer of insulation to the outside of the building, in addition to the insulation inside the walls. Installed over the outside of the wall, on top of the insulation between the studs, EIFS wraps the whole building — framing included — so it stays comfortable and energy-efficient.
